Pair Thermal Contact in Comsol 4.3 (Build 151)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello!,

I'm trying to simulate the MEMS energy harvester showed in this webinar (www.comsol.com/video/thermal-structure-interaction-mems-energy-harvester). As I'm using the v 4.3 I did not find the Pair Thermal Contact boundary condition, can any one suggest me an alternate option to complete this work?.

Thanks in advance

Sincerely,

Adrian

Hello Adrian,
Besides the issue of which version you have (I don't believe that feature existed at 4.3), look also into which modules you have.
The Thermal Contact capability is part of the Heat Transfer Module (See www.comsol.com/products/specifications/heat-transfer/)
In v4.3, to check if your license includes that module, you will need to go to Options>Licenses.
Best,
Jeff
