Problem in Optimization by global least squares objective

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi sirs, that is my first contribution in COMSOL discussion forum. I'm simulating an adsorption process of water vapour in silica gel grains. the model is working very good when I enter fixed value of mass diffusion coefficient. But, when I use the optimization module (global least squares objective) to extract the best value of the diffusion coeff to do good fitting to the simulation results with my experimental data , I got very bad fitting and optimized value of the diffusion coeff equal to the intial value which I enterd in the optimization module (No optimization occurred). My research stopped due to this problem, please help me.
