Function for initial values

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I was trying to define a function for my initial values but it doesn't work. I created a analytical function called an1 under Component1 -> Definitions. Then i wanted to use this function for my initial values in heat transfer.
I typed in '293.15[K] + an1'. Now it's displayed yellow and says 'unknown variable an1'.

Does anyone know how to deal with that?

I appreciate your help

Max

I figured it out by myself :-)

You have to add the variable of which your function depends on, such that 'an1(z)'.
