i'm a new user of comsol
I'm trying to simulate a bonding wire inductor, but no way to make it converge.
cannot use 2D axysimmetric due to the shape of the inductor.
Tried all possible solutions:
1) direct solver: not enough memory
2) raised number of iterations
3) changed tolerance
4) changed mesh
The convergence plot stops at about 8th iteration and says
Error: Failed to find a solution.
Divergence of the linear iterations.
Returned solution is not converged.
I use only MF module
In DC (stationary) it works well. But this message pops up when i go in AC, even at extremely low frequencies.
Any idea?
Thank you in advance :-)
Antonio
