how to simulate transient response of change in atmospheric pressure through a tube of different diameters

I am trying to simulate the ear canal of a pilot as he flies a plane to a high altitude.

To simplify this problem (to atleast get the physics rite; I can add the complexities of the geometry,ect at a later stage): Lets assume a long (5cm), small diameter(0.5mm) hollow cylinder with a pressure sensors placed along the length inside the cylinder. Now if we pump the vacuum chamber down at a quick rate; the pressure sensors (assuming their refresh rate is very very high) would record different pressures along the length of the tube until equilibrium is reached and the pressure on the inside of the tube equals to the pressure in the vacuum chamber. How do I model a change in pressure in the vacuum chamber and the transient response of this pressure change inside the tube.

I a human ear, the phenomena of the ear drum popping is similar in physics. The ear drum is balanced on either side by air pressure from the outer ear canal on one side and pressure through the Eustachian tube on the other side (lets neglect the effect muscles have in changing the dimensions of the Eustachian tube for simplicity sake; I intend to add these complexities down the line). Ears pop when the pressure on either side are not equal; owing to the difference in dimensions of the Ear canal and the Eustachian tube there is a difference in the time taken for both sides to reach an equilibrium pressure and hence the phenomena of ears popping when we go in an airplane or drive up/down a mountain.


Can some one please help with an example , etc. What module would I need to run the simulations
