Meshing 3D geometries with different thickness

Hello,

This might be asked here before, but I couldn't find something applicable for my case.

I am working on a heat transfer problem (3D) on a device made off different materials and thickness. smallest thickness (1um) and the thickest is 5mm (image shared) . I tried to mesh the layers individually for the thinnest layer set the minimum element size half the thickness. This resulted super long computing time ~2days with error.

I am asking your suggestion how I can mesh the thinnest with finer mesh with fair amount of computation time.

You will want to explore advanced meshing options (swept mesh) and/ or the Thin Layer node.
