COMSOL background colour

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to change the graphics window background colour from the light blue to white? This seems like a simple task but I cannot figure out how to do it. It's mainy for importating snapshots of my models into a word document so they can have the same background. Thanks

As far as background colors go:
At the model level: you can choose from several presets by selecting the top node in the Model Builder and in the corresponding Settings window select one of the available options under "Graphics color theme". You can also pick between those presets once and for all by setting this in the File > Preferences menu. You can also control export color themes there, which may be more to your point.
For even more control: You can change the background to be a top-to-bottom gradation between two arbitrary colors by editing the target of your COMSOL icon to read something like this:
"C:\Program Files\COMSOL\COMSOL56\Multiphysics\bin\win64\comsol.exe" -Dcs.canvascolor=255,255,120,255,255,204
where 255,255,120 is the RGB codes for the color you want at the top and 255,255,204 is the RGB codes for the color you want at the bottom. These particular numbers will give you the slightly graded yellow background in the attached screenshot. White is 255,255,255.

Hi Kieran,
When you make an image snapshot (available from the Graphics toolbar at the top of the Graphics window), you can choose any color as the background, including white, or a transparent background in addition to the current background in the Graphics window or a background taken from a color theme. You can then save that snapshot to the Windows clipboard to easily paste it into a Word document, for example. There is also a Quick Snaphot toolbar menu, where one of the options can be used to provide quick and consistent snapshots.
