Stopped-flow injection for 3D reactive transport modeling

Hi,
I am doing a single-phase reactive transport model. I would like to ask if it is possible to have alternating flow and no-flow from an injection point (e.g. 1hr of flow, then 1hr of no-flow, and 1hr of flow again)? Also, is it possible to create one injection point in a 3D porous media (i.e. injecting fluid from an injection pipe at the center of the surface boundary of a 3D porous media, there is no flow except from the injection point)?
