How to model piercing in COMSOL

Hi guys!
I'm currently working on simulating Neural Probe insertion into the brain, and I'm currently having some issues having the probe be fully inserted into the brain. When running the simulation, the probe only pierces the surface and doesn't go further past that. Are there any suggestions for how to solve this?
If it's helpful, I established the contact pairs as the tip of the probe being the Source and the top of the brain being the Destination. Let me know if there's anymore information I should provide!
