Boundary and Initial values inconsistent between two time dependent study steps

Hi comsol community,

I am encoutering some obstacles to deal with the boundary and initial values consistency problems between two time dependent study steps. Take a simple model as an example. A balloon is inflated with water in the first time dependent study step, and then some forces are applied to squeeze the balloon in the second time dependent study step. Since it is a two-study-steps study, Comsol will automatically map the results from the firts step to the second one as the initial values. And in the second time step, the external forces are exerted on some boundaries. How the boundary values and inital values in the second step can be made consistent for time dependet solver to work properly? Is there any way to extract the boundary conditions in the final time in the first step, and then use the boundary conditions retrieved from the first step to smoothly transit the boundary conditions in the second step, rendering consistent boundary and initial values for time dependet solver.

Appreciate any help in advance.
