Photocurrent stimulation of Photoconductive antenna

Hi, I am currently trying to simulate the photocurrent of a Photoconductive antenna using RF module and semiconductor module. From the papers I read, they first stimulated the optical response, or the E-field distribution inside the semiconductor in RF Frequency domain. Then, they assumed a Gaussian dependence in time of the optical response to get the carrier generation rate. To me it seems that they used the E-field solution from RF Frequency domain and implemented it in the semiconductor time-domain study. I would like to ask how this is achieved in COMSOL.

I have attached my current model.

As the dealine is approaching and I am new to COMSOL..it will be of great help if some one could help.

Thanks, Ruihan

You can probably do a manual coupling by entering your mathematical expression for the generation rate in terms of the RF E field in a user defined generation domain condition. You can contact us at support@comsol.com for more details. Chien
