Hydraulic Fracture Propagation With Comsol

Hello:

I was going through the document available with Comsol on 'Discrete Fracture' and it seems to have a pre-defined fracture in the model; however, it does not consider fracture initiation and propagation.

I am interested in modeling hydraulic fracture initiation and propagation with Comsol in a porous media and I would really appreciate if you could guide me through a modeling strategy for this type of problem.

I look forward to hearing your suggestions.
