photoacoustic wave generation from materials with different elastic modulus

Hi!
I am studying the photoacoustic wave generated from materials with different elastic modulus. I use the "heat transfer in solids " , "solid mechanics " models. The heat source is added as the generating source. When I set the material with large elastic modulus, about several GPa, the result meets the expection. However, when I set the smaller mudulus, about several kPa, and keep other parameters unchanged, the duration of the generated wave is too long to exceed the expected value. The result is also different with other's simulation.

I am so confused. I am wondering if some settings , such as mesh or time step should change as the elastic modulus changes? I don't know why the results change so significantly.

Thanks!
