Multi-turn coil and it's Magnetic field modelling

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Good day,
I am working on a design which uses multi-turn coils and their resultant magnetic fields when a current is run through them. From the literature, I realize that for the simulation to work, the loop needs to be closed inside the simulation space (previously I had used open helices, but that was incorrect). Now, I am using 3 tori placed on top of each other to simulate a 3 turn coil.
Is this the best way to represent such a coil, or is there a better way that i am missing?
It is worth noting that I am new to comsol. Once the model is placed, I understand that I have to set the material, but then also apply the magnetic fields and currents required by the design. But I am not sure how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ahmed
