2KHz coil simulation (coil radius is about 15 mm)

Hi guys,

I ran into some problems using Comsol in AC/DC simulation. Here is a brief description of my problem:

I have two coil antennas working at 2KHz. The radius of both antennas are 15 mm. The distance between the two coils is about 400 mm. I try to simulate the received voltage. The antennas are modeled as circle curves. The thickness of the wire is not considered. Both coils have only one turn. The transmitter is excited by edge current. The simulation domain is a sphere with radius 10m and with infinite element boundary.

For such a simple model, the received signal can be calculated manually. However, the simulation result is not even close to my manual result which I'm pretty sure is correct. The simulation result doesn't even satisfy some obvious property.

Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!

Jing
