Setting correct Name/Lable for a variable

I am trying to parametrically set the value of a variable (V2) in a boundary (B2) using the value of another variable (V1) in another boundary (B1). I am trying to figure out what that name of V2 should be based on V1 and B1 knowing:
B1: This is an inlet boundary in CFD physics:
Inlet1 {inl1}
V1: This variable is the velocity at B1:
spf.u0y (y component of velocity in a boundary)
B2: Fan boundary
Fan 1 {fan1}
V2: A variable of B2 that is a function of V1. I have set it as
spf.inl1.u0y*0.1[m^2]
But the program does not recognize neither spf.inl1.u0y nor spf.u0y.inl1.
I would appreciate if you could give me some hints to use a correct name of the variable.
