File Import for CATIA® V5 Updates
Support for Linux® Operating Systems
With COMSOL Multiphysics® version 6.3, the File Import for CATIA® V5 add-on for the CAD Import Module, Design Module, and LiveLink™ products for CAD is now available for supported Linux® systems with Intel® 64-bit processors. A current list of compatible CATIA® V5 file format versions can be found in the Read from File, CAD section of the CAD specification chart.
Preview the Assembly Tree of CAD Assemblies
When importing CAD assemblies in file format, it is now possible to preview the assembly tree, enabling users to select specific components to import from the assembly.
