COMSOL Server™ Updates
Updated Appearance
The default COMSOL Server™ appearance has been updated to better match the COMSOL® brand, with the color scheme changing from red to blue. Additionally, the icons for both COMSOL Server™ and COMSOL Client are now the same as for COMSOL Multiphysics®.
The login screen for COMSOL Server™ has the new colors for the logo and button, as well as the COMSOL Multiphysics® icon in the window tab.
The default COMSOL Server™ user interface has been updated to a blue color scheme.
Idle Time-Out of Licenses
By configuring the license manager, for a floating network license, you can now choose to automatically release licenses when the software is idle. This means, for example, that if a user forgets to close a COMSOL Multiphysics® session when leaving the office for the day, the license manager identifies that the license is idle, releases it, and makes it possible for someone else to use that license.
