Maxwell Stress in Version 4.4

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am using version 4.4 and simulating a droplet inside of another droplet in the presence of a magnetic field. The goal is to find the Maxwell stress on the surface of the droplet. In my geometry I am using a 2D axisymmetric model. The arrow plot shows that the maxwell stress is minimum at angle 0 (from the vertical axisymmetric axis) and is maximum at angle 90. However, when I make a line plot of the maxwell stress on the surface versus the angle, I notice that the maximum happens at 45 degree and the maxwell stress at 90 degree is zero. This contradicts the arrow plot and I have no explanation for it. I am using the downward Maxwell stress, while in version 4.3 I was using the upward Maxwell stress and the results of the two plots were matching. I was wondering if I am using the right Maxwell stress in this version, or there is a trick to it, or if anyone had suggestions or similar experience that could help me.

Thanks
