Comsol Solver settings for transient fully coupled FSI

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I have been struggling to model a transient fully coupled 2D fluid structure interaction. To start with, I tried to redo a published case. It consists of the following settings:
1. Implicit time-stepping
2. GMRES preconditioner decoupled using band matrices
3. block-matrix preordering
4. quasi-linearization
5. Discretization: spectral finite difference

I understood these settings are not selected in default by Comsol, as it uses 'direct solver'. So manually, I changed to GMRES from iterative solver settings. For time-stepping I used 'strict' instead of free. But, I am stuck hereafter.

How to add a preconditioner that too decoupled, preordered with quasi linearisation? Also, I don't know how to add spectral finite difference as discretization. I thought here some expert might see and help me.
