Hi,

Is there anyway that I can define a spherical geometry with a Gaussian distribution of a Parameter inside it?

Best,
Haleh

Hi,

you cannot exactly do it with a parameter, but you can define a variable:

This would center the Gauss distribution var with width sigma at the origin. Define a variable like this in the entire model or in the spherical domain and you can use it wherever you need it in your model settings.

Cheers

Hi, you cannot exactly do it with a parameter, but you can define a variable: [math]var = \frac{1}{\sigma \sqrt{2 \pi}}e^{-\frac{1}{2}\left(\frac{x^2 + y^2 + z^2}{\sigma^2}\right)}[/math] This would center the Gauss distribution var with width sigma at the origin. Define a variable like this in the entire model or in the spherical domain and you can use it wherever you need it in your model settings. Cheers Edgar -- Edgar J.
