force on a magnet due to a current carrying coil.

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hi,
I am a beginner, I am trying to calculate the force on a permanent magnet that is placed perpendicular to the plane of a copper rectangular coil. I am not getting the analysis and the results right. I have used 'magnetic fields, no currents' to model the magnet and the 'multi turn coil' under 'magnetic fields' for the coil. for the multiturn coil, i have used 'automatic current calculation'. My coil direction is not as expected. Could you please help me with this.

thank you.
