Importing Mimics geometry/mesh into COMSOL

Hello,

Has anyone here successfully used Mimics to import a mesh or geometry into COMSOL? I would like to define a few different domains using Mimics then import them to COMSOL for an FSI study. Right now, I have been creating a mesh within Mimics (mphtxt), importing it into COMSOL, then creating a geometry from my mesh.

I have several domains (6) with 5 of them being solid and one being fluid. I would like to perform an FSI study with these domains, but I cannot figure out how to properly establish boundary conditions for this model. Specifically, I need to somehow have concurrent faces on the connected boundaries of each domain to represent solid-solid boundaries and fluid-solid interactions, but I do not have faces for these boundaries.

I have searched past threads and nobody else appears to have a decent solution to this problem. For example, see: www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/5935.

I would greatly appreciate any advice you may offer.
