Missing Terminal Boundary Condition

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

My goal is to create a plot of the impedance of a piezoelectric structure as to see resonance and anti-resonance, but I cannot seem to do so. Currently I am using an electrical potential boundary condition under electrostatics after adding the piezoelectric device physics module. I have read in multiple discussions that the best way to plot impedance is to use a terminal boundary condition of voltage type instead of the electrical potential, but I can't seem to find the terminal BC anywhere. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. (model attached)

Thanks,
Anthony

Dear Anthony,

have you checked the specification chart whether you have the correct licenses for this boundary condition?
www.comsol.nl/products/specifications/all/

You can check which licenses you have via the "menu>>File>>Licensed and Used products". It might be that you currently have not checked out the license for the terminal condition.

Best regards,
Frank
