Simple swelling of a polymer

Hi,

I have a porous matrix: carbon particles, a polymer binder and pores. I would like to investigate the influence of the polymer swelling on the diffusivity inside a pores.
No transient, no stress etc. needed, just the volume change.

Any ideas, how to simply solve that?
