Configure automation calculation task in Comsol 4.4

Dear comsol geeks there,
my question is generally relative to the configuration of an automation calculation task,
and the version I used is Ver 4.4,

[Q1]. Can we make some automation task hook in Comsol IDE. So that we can define an iteration like following,
1) change a variable defined in component,
2) do study 1 (a frequency simulation, where the modified variable go into playing),
3) do study 2 (a time dependent one, one boundary setting is depend on the result of study 1)
4) save result to some table, export to file, and the name of file should be changed automatically.
5) goto step 1

Q2. Can COMSOL provide the manner to do arithmetical calculation on a column of table, and then feed to physic model, a example could be the table we got from a parameter scanning?

any hints?
