Basic Time-Dependant Simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I'm pretty new to COMSOL, I've already built a magneto-static simulation of a coil using the Electric and Magnetic Fields module, I've then moved forward to a stationary current-excited multi-turn coil using the Magnetic Fields Module.

Now my goal is to progress into a time-dependent simulation involving a current ramp in the multi-turn coil. I've figured out how to create a ramp function, I've added the time-dependent step but I can't figure out:

* How to associate the ramp to the current in the coil
* What are the relevant parameter I must set in order for the time-dependent simulation to work properly.

I'm sorry this is pretty basic but I've been investigating for a while without success and I guess I'm not finding it because I just don't know precisely what I'm looking for.

Hi,

I need to do something similar, do you had some clue on how to do it?
