simulation the coupling between SPP model and FP cavity modle

Hi! I am simulating a model: FP cavity with dielectric inside, is surrounded by botom Ag layer(250nm in thickness) and top Ag film with grating. The light is illuminated normal to grating. I need to simuation the coupling between SPP model and Cavity model to get the reflectivity and aborption.
I plan to place only a port near top Ag grating as incoming port and to get the reflectivity.
questions: 1. Should I get background field first, then solver the total physical field?
2. whether PML is needed?
3. I plan to use Floquet periodicity. Should I set the side of PML with Floquet periodicity?
And are there some models useful to me?
