porous medium

I want to solve a model for a porous medium which consists of a mixture of 3 materials. Before defining a porous medium,i would have to define materials.When i choose materials it requires some domain but the domain for all the materials is same. when i select the same domain for all materials,two of them are override.so if any body knows please help me how can i define a same domain for different materials in different proportion or is there any other way to define materials.I hope u all understand my question.If anybody knows please reply fast.
