nonlinear B-H curve

Hi

I am looking for an example of a very simple model:

I have a permanent magnet near a pirce of iron (non linear B-H) and need

to calculate the force on the iron.

None of the model examples cover this particular case.

Hi,

You can calculate the force using the in-built force functions or maxwell stress tensors inside COMSOL. Alternatively there is a speaker module inside the model libraries for acoustics speakers. You could check that too.

Dear David,

You can use the non-linear Magnetic Materials (B-H Curve) instead of a linear Iron as done in the attached model file. The attached model file is the modification of the Permanent Magnet model from the model library:
