Modeling thermal contact resistance in Comsol 4.3a

I would like to model the heat transfer in multiple layers of foil compressed by a static force.
Now there are multiple papers evaluating thermal contact resistance for different contact pressures
(for instance "Determination of thermal contact resistance from transient temperature measurements" www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0017931007003535)
The paper recommends a thermal contact resistance of 2200 W/(m^2*K) for my case. The problem is however that in the heat transfer module of comsol there is no dedicated function for thermal contact resistance. All that can be set is a Thin thermally resisistive layer with the unit of a heat transfer coefficient (W/(m*K)).
There are websites claiming that the thin thermally resistive layer can be calibrated to equal the contact resistance but I am not convinced that this is reliable.
So I am asking if anyone knows of a way to integrate thermal contact resistance into comsol. Have I simply overlooked the easy way or is there perhaps a more advanced function?

Have you solved your problem? I have been doing a similar work using the Heat transfer module in Comsol, and I will be very appreciate if you could share something concerning the TCR settings with me.

This is only a suggestion:

Heat Flux --> Convective heat flux

Define T_ext to be the temperature of the contacting phase; there you have heat transfer coefficient in W/(m²·K)

Does it work for you?
