"Electrode surface height" parameter in Corona Discharge model

Hi everyone,
I´m confused with one parameter that appears in the corona_discharge_1d model example:

"Electrode surface height"

This parameter appears under Model I - > DC Discharge -> Electric potential-> Circuit Settings

Does anyone knows this parameter do?
