High heat flux not computing

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I’m trying to simulate laser heating of a sample and I’m struggling with a evaporation heat flux away from the sample surface. Whenever I do so there is a region underneath the surface where temperature starts increasing even though there’s no more heat being added, just evaporation heat flux, convective heat flux and emission. Any suggestion what might me the issue that COMSOL doesn’t compute in a right way? Thank you for any help.

Wojciech
