Transmission Analysis of a photonic crystal filter

Hello everyone!

I'm analyzing a structure made of a slab photonic crystal , connected to 2 ridge waveguides.
To find the band gap (a range of frequencies of very low transmission), I have to compute transmission. For that, I use S-parameters, setting the 2 sides as ports.
To find the fundamental (highest effective index mode) mode field profile in the waveguide (to use as input for the boundary conditions), I do 2 Boundary Mode Analysis (BMA), one for each port.
I don't know if there are problems because just one of the BMA can be the ruling application mode.
However, when I do a In-Plane, stationary simulation for Harmonic Propagation, "I get error message 7248, undefined value found" on the left edge, the one of the input port.
Do you have any ideas?

Thank you in advance
