Periodic Inflow

I like to know how can we define inlet as attachment, imagine we have a channel, flow has different velocity at different height, it's like step, for example if height is 10cm: from h=0 to h=2cm : velocity of 1m/s, h=2 to h=4 velocity of 3m/s, h=4 to h=7 another velocity,etc. Notice that this is time dependent, I mean this flow profile is at t=1, but for t=2 I need mirror of this profile, and it will be periodic.
