Accessing database

Hello,

Is it possible to access the database of a study and modify the value of a dependent variable?

I am running v4.3b with Matlab. In my Comsol model, I have two studies; general form PDE and creeping flow. These two studies write their results into separate databases. The studies have an access to both databases and receive necessary values without a problem.

During the analysis, I need to access to one database, get one variable to Matlab, regularize the variable in Matlab and then send it back to Comsol in the same format. I can receive the variable to Matlab and regularize it. However, I can not figure out how to send it back to its original database. Can you please help me?

Thank you in advance.
