hi,

i performed a 3D simulation for a stress distribution, with stress contour lines labeled.
the thickness of the contour line is a bit too thin to see. how can i change the setting of the contour line?

cheers!

This is currently not possible, neither in 4.2 nor in the latest version, 4.3b. We hope that we will be able to add support for this in a later version.

Hi

I realized this when I tried to export the streamlines into a tiff image. I found that a better way to get good bold streamlines is to select the line type as "tube" instead of "line".

In the plot settings window for streamline, scroll down to the tab "colouring and style". In the "Line type" selection, choose "tube". For me, the following selections resulted in bold streamlines:

Tube radius expression: 0.001mm
Radius scale factor (ticked): 1

Hope this helps!

Cheers
Alicia

Being able to plot streamlines as tubes has been possible since 4.0, I think. Support for plotting contour lines as tubes was added in 5.0.
