Type in the divergence of a gradient, manually.

Hi,

I am trying to model some thermo diffusion where I need to type: div(-“factor”*grad(temperature) ) , manually. Does anyone know where to find perhaps a list of the syntax for these operators?

Thank you for your time,
Morten

Hi

COMSOL has internal names for derivaties of the dependent ariables, hence the gradient components, then you ned to write out the formula for each component, reminding yourself that COMSOL does not ave any direct vector or tensor notation, you must write out the formly component for component. Check the equations view (turn on in the preferences) to see exmples fromCOMSOL' internal formulas

Good luck
