Excluding Geometry from Surface to Surface Radiation Physics

Hello, I am simulating some solid bodies using two physics interfaces, surface to surface radiation, and heat transfer for solids. I have the multiphysics between these two interfaces working on these bodies as well. I have the radiation physics set to save the view factors on the disk to save time. I notice it only needs to recompute view factors if the mesh changes.

I have a simple cylinder geometry that I've added to the heat transfer in solids physics. It does not participate in radiation so its surfaces are not included in the surface to surface radiation or the multiphysics. I am doing a parametric study, and the diameter of this cylinder is changing. However, changing the diameter results in a new mesh, forcing the view factors to recompute. I notice the solid cylinder body is still included for the domain opacities in the radiation physics, so I set it to transparent. This does not work, and the view factors are still recomputed each time.

My question, is there a way to exclude this cylinder geometry from the mesh so it is not seen as a change when view factors are computed? I still need to solve heat transfer in solids on it though.
