What Comsol options should I use to properly define periodic boundary conditions (PBCs) for solids with uniformly distributed cylindrical holes? Unit cell is presented in: (unit-cell-1, unit-cell-3)
Some Comsol helps does not help to solve the problem of compressing / stretching the unit cell.
Example 1.
https://www.comsol.com/support/learning-center/article/80311
Applied load in one direction does not influence other sizes of unit cell. Why?
Example 2.

In second example deformed unit cell is still cubic box.
Sometimes it is not possible. See attached figure unit-cell-4.
How to make boundaries deformed after PBC will be applied with loads?
