Heat transfer in a press

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

We want to see the heat transfer in a piece of steel.
The press is made of a cold and a hot side, with between the two matrix a piece of mica to isolate those two matrix.

First we have to modelize the warm up of the press. we have made the first step with "heat transfer".

When it is finished, we put the piece of steel on the press (at 1000 K).
In the same model, we have created a second "heat transfer" to see the field of temperature of the piece. But we want to take the temperature of the first resolution as the initial values for the temperature at the interface of the press and the piece of steel.
We tried a lot of things without success.

What is the right development ?

Yours sincerely,

J.Pavageau

P.S: We can't attach the file because it's too heavy.
