I want to simulate the temperature distribution of a thin plate between two metal lines, through which current flows. The temperature distribution is shown in attachment 1 E5472587-4ECD-4A5C-995D-AAE7D3525113.png . However after i divide these two metal lines into several domains, sudden temperature reduction occured to the connection part of metal line domains, which is shown in lower quarter of attachment 26CEA7D7F-E370-4683-90D7-9F338DED5076.png. Can anyone help solve or avoid the temperature reduction?

Hello Zhurui,

Can you attach your .mph files? Without them, it would be hard to guess how the two set ups differ.

Best,

Jeff

Thanks. The problem is solved. An extra boundary condition is found out improperly defined. After the boundary condition is corrected, the irregular temprature distribution disappears now.
