Dear Sirs/Madams

I am simulating the power splitter model using the Wave Optics and Optimization modules. My goal is to creating holes inside the device to reduce its material and mass while maximizing the transmission of Electromagnetic waves at the desired frequency using the shape optimization.

Would you please tell me what the syntax would be for both the objective function and control variables?

I think the syntax for the objective function would be “Total transmittance (comp1.ewfd.Ttotal)” to be introduced as the expression to achieve my goal, but I might be mistaken.
