Hello, dear professors; I need to simulate the ECR ion spring extractor for my masters thesis. For this simulation, I wanted to know if Comsol has the ability to do this? If it can do this, how do I define the source of the particles coming out of the plasma? And does it take into account the effects of sapce charge limited for this ion source from which I want to extract protons? Can you calculate the output current from this extractor that pulls out the proton beam from the source? (child langmuir law for proton)
Please help if you know about this issue.
