Convection velocities

I am making a diffusion and convection model for mass transport in tubes. Is there a way to input the velocity by inputing a pressure gradient between the inlet and outlet, such that comsol can solve the velocity profile inside the tube instead of having to solve the profile separately.

Thanks,
Constantinos

Hi

you can give velocit profile based on pressure difference in the options>expressions>subdomianexpression column where it calculates expression value at subdomains.

choose velocity profile with pressure difference exactlyby makin momentum balance around the tube..
