Two cylinders share a common face- Internal decomposition error

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am dealing with a geometry of two cylindrical strucutres which share a common face. They are imported as STL files and then converted to geometry in COMSOL.

However, COMSOL is unable to form a union. They need to be separate domains, as I need to assign different materials to them, so they cannot be combined together and imported.

Please suggest what might be a good workaround this problem.

Thanks
