Can not converge after changing the parameters

Hi, All,
My model converges well at some parameter settings, but after I change the parameters to other values, it will iterate for several iterations, and then assembly matrix forever. Does anyone know why this happens? Does this mean my initial values or any other settings are not good enough for the new parameters?
