pde general form

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
I am simulating the model proposed by Bottcher (2009). The authors have used a weak form of pde while I am trying to use the general form. Though the program is simulating, i am not getting the desired contours. The system is composed of ammonia (1), oxygen (2) and nitrogen (3). Can you tell me how to solve the same problem using the weak form? I am attaching the comsol 4.0 file and the summary of equations.

1. rho*u.(gradient(wi))=- divergence((rho*M1/Mav^2)*(summation(Mj*Dij*gradient(xj))). i,j=1,2,3 and i and j are not equal.
2.rho*u.(gradient u)=-dp/dx+mu*(divergence(gradient(u))+(1/3)*(mu)*gradient(divergence(u))

thanks a lot
