Heat generation term in li_battery_thermal_3d.mph application libraries

Is the heat generation term taking into account the ohmic heating or the heat generation due to the intercalation and deintercalation of Lithium-ions in the positive and negative electrode or both ? Also, why there is a need to provide nojac() operator in the heat generation expression defined in variables 2 of comp 2?
