Hello,
I am also experiencing some difficulties in combining the two physics.
I am building a model for a SAW device.
I tested it using the "Piezoelectric Device" physics and I was able to see the admittance and other parameters.
Now, I want to obtain the S parameters. I introduced the "Electromagnetic Waves" physics and performed
some settings for it: added the ports and periodic conditions.
I started the simulations, but the parametric solver remains stuck around 20%.
Has any of you done this kind of simulation?
Do I need to operate some settings in order to get the two physics to work together?
Am I missing something?

Hello,
I am still experiencing difficulties in obtaining the S-parameters for a SAW device.
For the moment, I am only considering a piece of it to whom I apply periodic boundary conditions.
My two main problems are:
1.what type of port should I use for this?
I saw in help that is recommended to use lumped ports when the dimensions of the port are much smaller
that the wavelength. When I put lumped port, simulation works, but my S11 parameter is just a line.
If I use only Port (Rectangular or User defined), the simulation doesn't pass 0% on parametric solver.
2. Perfect electric conductor: by default, Comsol considers all boundaries as PEC.
Some of this get overridden when I choose ports and PBC.
But there are many left as PEC, which should not happen in my case. And I think this is the reason why I obtain a plane line for my S11 parameter.
How do I modify this? What should I add to my model?
